Bridge House

Ambleside

Ambleside is located within the Lake District National Park. The town is a great base to visit some of the country's most spectacular scenery.

Bridge House

Bridge House is one of the most recognisable buildings in Ambleside. It was built over Stock Ghyll more than 300 years ago probably as a summer house and apple store for Ambleside Hall. In 1926 the local people bought the building and gave it to the National Trust. The house is now used by the National Trust as an information centre.
